Dartford Orienteers invite you to our Kent Orienteering League event in this varied parkland in World Orienteering Week. Guidance on what to do will be available both in advance and on the day.
We are offering a range of Line courses and a 60 minute Score course so there's a course suitable for all ages and levels of experience.
We are keeping entries open including Saturday morning as we have a few maps still available but please enter before you leave for the event. We do not take cash or credit card entries at the event
Yellow 1.8km 65m climb

Controls (checkpoints) are very easy to find, mostly on paths, ideal for younger children and complete beginners.
Orange 2.8km 85m climb
Entered: 0 of 15
Controls are on or near paths with some route choice. Good for progressing juniors and adults who are reasonably confident reading a map.
Green 3.8km 135m climb
Entered: 0 of 40
Suitable for those with orienteering experience.
Blue 5.8km 140m climb
Entered: 0 of 31
Suitable for those with orienteering experience.
The above 4 courses are Line courses where the controls are visited in a set order.

There are 21 controls. Those numbered in the 50"s are the easiest, 60's more difficult and 70's a bigger challenge! Find as many controls as you can in any order within the time limit of 60 minutes. 10 points per control and a 5 point penalty per minute or part of a minute for exceeding the allocated time.
