Some parking at the Family Hub and plenty of parking in the surrounding area.
Times:
Arrival times: - 1730 onwards.
Start and finish outside Family Hub
Starts: - 1800 to 1900.
Course closes promptly at 2000.
Help with collecting in controls would be appreciated.

1:5,000 on A3 waterproof paper, 2.5m contours.
Terrain
Mainly urban – ideal for trainers with reasonable grip (but please remove dirty footwear at entrance to Family Hub)
Course:
Score course - 26 controls – 500 points – one hour
Control Descriptions and values are printed on the map. Loose Control Descriptions will be available at the start.
There is a penalty of 10 points for each minute, or part minute, when finishing over an hour.
Bonus points - 10 per minute under the hour - are available, but only if every control has been visited.
Timing system:
SIAC enabled controls with gripples. You must punch the Start and Finish controls.
After punching at the Finish, please make your way to Download in the Family Hub and remove outdoor footwear

Safety
All competitors MUST wear hi-viz tops & have sufficient lights to complete their course (must take a spare!) plus whistle.
Under 16s MUST be accompanied by an adult.
Be aware of pedestrians around the area and cars driving around the houses - the roads and pavements are narrow.
Wimborne bypass is out of bounds (marked on map as such). Also no courses cross Leigh Road (main road running east to west at north end of map). The map is bounded by the river on the southern edge of the map – take extra care if running alongside river path – courses do not cross the river.
Dogs:
No dogs allowed on course or in Family Hub.
Facilities:
Toilets available in the centre. Limited First Aid only - be prepared to self-administer. Mince pies and tea/coffee available for all afterwards.
