A series of evening street-O events using the Maprun app.

Suffolk Orienteering Club presents 6 informal evening street-O events this winter, using the Maprun app on your mobile phone.

Each event will be launched on the second Tuesday of the month, but will remain available to run in your own time for 4 weeks following the event date.

The 6-event series will be a mini-league format with prizes awarded at the end of the season for best performance for both men and women. The best five out of 6 scores will be added up for the overall total.

As these events are street events, entries can only be made by over-16s. Under-16s can be accompanied by a responsible adult.

We will meet at or near a pub on the day of the event, and hope that you will join us afterwards for a social drink and/or food (and a debrief).

Special offer:
Enter the whole series and get all 6 events for the price of 5.

Tuesday 8th December - The Macebearer, Hardwick, Bury St Edmunds

Event Information
Using Maprun
Maprun is a free app which will need to be downloaded onto your phone before you arrive at the event.
Details about the Maprun app can be found here.
Help with using the app will be available at the event before you begin.

Before the day of the event you will be sent details of how to access the course together with its PIN code.

Paper maps will be provided on the day of the event, but you will also be able to download a pdf version of the map so you print your own if you wish to do the course in your own time. The phone app will also display the course map.

Don't forget to bring a torch!
How to get to the Combs Ford event
Combs Ford is on the edge of Stowmarket which has a good train service. Stowmarket station is approx 20 min walk from The Magpie, Combs Ford, IP14 2AP.
///resurgent.tracks.race

If you are driving to the event, there is a shoppers car park at the nearby Co-op, accessed from Combs Lane. ///paying.prettiest.overlook
Please use the parking spaces furthest from the store so as not to inconvenience shoppers unnecessarily. It is then a short walk to the Maglie.
