FAQ

The event organiser will be able to answer any questions you have about their event or your entry. You can find their email address on the event information page or on your entry details. If you have received an email confirming your entry, replying to the email will reach the event organiser.

In most cases these questions can be answered by the event organiser but please do contact us if you need to. Send an email to admin@racesignup.co.uk. Don't forget to let us know the name and date of the event you have entered.

Yes. Click on Your Account in the menu above and login using your current details (old email address). That will display details of the profiles that you have created. Click on the pencil icon next to your name. Edit your email address and save. Please note that if the new email address that you give has a Racesignup login you will not be able to save the change.

If you are being asked to validate a payment then that request is not coming from Racesignup. It's likely that you have saved your payment details using Onelink (formerly Link). To manage your information on the Link system please login at onelink.com.

Onelink is a one-click checkout built by Stripe. Racesignup uses Stripe to process your card payments. When you make a payment you can choose to save your payment details to Onelink for a faster checkout across hundreds of Stripe businesses. When you complete an entry form on behalf of someone else, the system creates a profile for them in your Racesignup account. This makes it easier for you when you come to enter that person in another event.

If you no longer want to have this profile in your account you can delete it. Go to Your Account and log in. You will see a list of the profiles you have saved. Tap on the pencil icon next to the name you want to remove. The edit profile page is displayed. Tap on the Delete button and confirm.

If the race organiser allows transfers you can do this yourself.

Go to the event page and login (by tapping Manage Entry or Enter Now)
Scroll down to the "Your Entries" panel where you will see an orange Transfer button against your name. Tap that Transfer button.
Provide the email address of the person who is taking your place.
They will get an email with instructions on how to take up their place. You will get a copy of that email.

If you have been given a transfer you will receive a transfer code by email. The instructions for taking your place are in the email.

If you haven't received the email please get in touch with the person who is transferring their place to you and ask them for the code. Then follow these steps:

Step 1: Go to racesignup.co.uk, find the race and sign in. (If you don't have a Racesignup account you will need to create one.)

Step 2: On the sign up page tap on the green button `I have a Transfer Code` and enter the code.

Step 3: To complete the transfer please scroll down to the Sign Up panel, tap on the green button with your name on and complete and save the entry form.

Step 4: You may need to make a payment. This is required when the original entry fee does not fully cover your fees.

After completing and saving the entry form, and making the payment if required, you will receive an email confirming your entry.

The event organiser can issue an Entry Passcode to allow certain people to enter the event.

If you have been given one these are the steps to create your entry:

Step 1: Go to racesignup.co.uk, find the race and sign in. (If you don't have a Racesignup account you will need to create one.)

Step 2: On the sign up page tap on the orange button `I have an Entry Passcode` and enter the code.

Step 3: Go to the Sign Up panel, tap on the green button with your name on and complete and save the entry form.

Step 4: Checkout and pay for your entry.

After successful payment you will receive an email confirming your entry.

Click on Your Account in the menu above. On the login screen click on the link "Forgotten password?" In the pop-up that appears, enter the email address you use to login and click "Send Request". You will receive an email with a button to click. Click on that button and follow the instructions.

When you complete an entry form as a member of England Athletics (EA) the system runs a check on the EA membership database. It does this using the values you provide for membership number, first name surname and date of birth. If the validation fails it means that the details you provided do not match to a current member of EA.

You can run a check yourself on the membership database. Go to ea-registration-check.myathletics.uk. If the check is successful please make sure that you use the correct values on the Racesignup entry form. If the check is not successful, you will see an email address on that page and can ask for assistance by sending them an email.
